What is Glow?

Glow is Scotland’s national digital learning platform provided by Scottish Government and managed by Education Scotland. It provides learners and educators across Scotland an environment that can support learning across the whole curriculum through our core services, Microsoft M365, Google Workspace for Education and WordPress blogs.

Authentication and Portal Services

The Glow Authentication and Portal services provides Glow users with access to a range of educational services, applications and content using a single username and password.

Online Productivity Suites

Glow provides access to a range of tools and services through Microsoft M365 and Google Workspace for Education for learners and educators to collaborate, create content ,access learning resources and much more.

Blogging

Glow Blogs is a free service with a number of privacy settings available to create secure websites.

Report a Concern

Report a Concern is available on all Glow core services and allows users to notify us of any concerns they have about the content or activity in Glow.

Who is Glow for?

Glow is for learners and educators using a range of services and tools in different ways.

Glow is available for all local authorities, independent schools, teacher education colleges and universities and Scottish education partners.
